It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.
Summary
Our Website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not load third-party tracking scripts. Because the Website uses no optional cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner. Our App shows advertising and uses a device advertising identifier, which you can limit at any time as described below.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small data files that a website places on your browser. Similar technologies include device identifiers, software development kits (SDKs), and local storage on your device. Some of these are strictly necessary to provide a service; others are used for purposes such as analytics or advertising.
Our Website
The Website is a static, read-only site. It has no sign-in, loads its fonts from our own servers rather than a third-party font service, and does not use analytics, advertising, social media plugins, or tracking pixels.
Our hosting and content delivery provider may set strictly necessary security cookies (for example, __cf_bm or cf_clearance) to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. These cookies are short-lived, are not used for advertising or to build a profile of you, and cannot be switched off because the Website cannot be served securely without them.

Our App
The App does not use browser cookies, but it uses similar technologies:
- Strictly necessary storage. The App stores information on your device, such as a session token and your settings, so that you stay signed in and the App works as expected.
- Security and fraud prevention. The App uses device integrity services from Apple and Google to confirm that it is running on a genuine device and has not been tampered with, and to help enforce one account per person.
- Diagnostics. The App uses a crash-reporting SDK that sends technical information about errors so we can fix them.
- Advertising. The App displays advertising from third-party advertising networks through their SDKs. These networks may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) and approximate location derived from your IP address to select and measure ads. This may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some US state laws.
Advertising never affects your ability to enter contests or your scores.
Your choices
- In the App: enable Limit ad personalization in the App's Settings to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising.
- On iOS: the App will not access your advertising identifier unless you allow it through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- On Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device's Google or Privacy settings.
- In your browser: you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can enable Global Privacy Control. Blocking the strictly necessary security cookies described above may prevent the Website from loading.
- Industry opt-outs: many advertising networks participate in the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out program.

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the technologies we use or for legal or operational reasons. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
